Gallons untill empty with fuel light?

Hey guys, wondering if anyone knew how many gallons untill empty you have (with the 26 gal tank) when your fuel light first comes on... Also anyone know the amount of mileage decrease when increasing to a 35" tire? (trying to figure gas mileage here)

This may be a waste of your time since I have an '03, but w/ my 25 gallon tank, the light goes on when I have between 3 and 4-1/2 gallons left.

I will never know because on the Lariat, the beep from the computer annoys me and resetting it only stops it temporarily so I always fill up soon after it chimes.

I agree; about 4 gallons sounds right because I always fill up right after the warning buzzer and it takes about 22 gallons.

I've noticed anywhere from 3.5 to 4 gallons on mine when the low fuel warning comes on.

My "BEEP" from the computer goes off at the same time the message center displays "LOW FUEL" when I have 50 miles until empty......I would bet it's the same on the others.....although I have actually run mine until it said 0 miles to empty.....for several miles...sometimes when you're on I-95, these things just creep up on you????

Mine goes off the first time at 50 miles to empty, then again at 25 miles to empty.

The 04+ trucks have a 27, 30 gallon or 35.7 gallon tank. No 26 gallon. Just an FYI

Wrong again. The F-150 is equipped with either a 26gal tank, 27 gal tank, 30gal tank, or a 35.7 gal tank as an orderable option on all series. The 26 gallon is usually found on regular cab and extended cab short bed trucks (126" and 133" WB) and the 27 is usually found on regular cabs with a long bed (6.5' or 8') and extended cabs with a 6.5' bed. Trust me...
