I like the change on the highway with no other lights... very "WHITE".

So there is a huge difference in performance? Doesn't look like it in this pic. I also thought they were white?

You're not gonna get HID performance, but they do look better in real life as opposed to a picture, especially on a dark street like mentioned.

The white balance of the image could be more than enough to misrepresent this image. Unless someone is fairly skilled with a Prosumer or DSLR camera, using a custom white balance, don't expect too much accuracy with a night shot on a white garage door.

they are definitely a bit cooler in color- which is nice to have- and they are def. brighter- yellow's head on picture comparison (original silverstar thread) was pretty telling imo tempting..very tempting...
as tx said- some action shots on the road could be pretty helpful
guys,
J

Huh??? LOL Sorry dude, I'm no professional photographer and I wasn't gonna change out my garage door. Plus, I didn't feel like trying to find a complete dark road in the middle of the city.

I didnt think sylvania was making the H13st. Didnt think dot would approve them. So i guess the real question where did you find them i miss my sliverstars that were on my 03. Man were those some bright lights. Pic wont do the sliverstars justice.

yeah they dont compare at all to stock. Find a friend with a chevy and replace the headlight bulb but not the brights, and go down a dark street, its actually easier to see with the silverstars then with the brights on stock bulbs.

Ive got the cool blues in my truck, they are the step down from the silverstars and im happy with them, even those are an improvment over stock.

For those that dont see a big difference dont just look at the "beam of light" but look at the overall lighting on the door. The silverstar side is better lit all the way around. I have the Silverstars in my fogs and the difference is amazing hopefully will pick up the headlights tommorrow.

I've had 9005's in my fogs for months now. I'll be picking up the H13ST's this morning! Even in fog light housings, although they are high beams, the 9005's give a ton more light than the 9145's. When I turn my fogs on they almost completely cancel out my low beams. The best part about it is I've NEVER had someone flash their high beams at me thinking I had mine on. The worst part about them is they have a VERY short life expectancy & a healthy price tag. I can't wait to see what the H13 & 9005 combo looks like!

HaHa.....no worries man, just a simple explanation or reason for the "why", did not want to introduce the "how".
