Search posts by member tycreek. He used it on his F150 before he jumped ship and bought a Dodge diesel.

I saw tycreek post on them and read a number of other post, but most was on pre 2004 body F150's

I was wondering if some more people had put the system on the new body
F150's...

I must say what I read so far looks good...

Thanks kd4crs...

Well, I bought it of tycreek when he sold his rig. Great guy, and I really miss him on the board.
However, I didn't put it on my truck. They come in two grades, and this was the heavy grade. VERY heavy. Didn't want to add that much weight as I just wanted better bump control. I drive too fast.

So I sold it to another member.

If you want one get the correct one.
It looked easy to install, and I have no reason to think they don't work well. Lots of people have used them on other trucks with real satisfaction.
I may someday buy a light duty set for my truck.

I would only want the light venison, the heavy is for a super duty... but will fit a 2004 new body F150, because the rear springs and dif... are from a super duty...

I mainly want empty (unloaded) ride control, as I drive a lot of country roads and I do once in a while haul a load of dirt of gravel for the house... so that would be a big plus..

i'm planning on a buying a camper in a year or two...

I'm just trying to make a decision between RAS and a Hellwig Sway Bar...both would do the job on the sway problem, but the RAS would have future benefits that would be nice...

Thanks for you input ChrisAdams

F150Truck'in,

I would look into Air Helper Bags. I love mine. The control the weight very well and act as a anti-sway device. And i can tell you that having them on with 5psi makes a huge difference in turning as it is not unsersteering like before.
