another edge question

ok i know that the edge reads the tire size from the truck when you use the "canned" settings. but when you make a custom tune do you haveto correct the tire size from the place holder setting or are you OK as long as you dont go into the tiresize option?
sorry if this has been asked already but i searched and i got both answers just dont know which one is right:o
thanks

No i had to correct mine. Some may not have to. I think if you choose to do custom tuning you have to change it to what you have. Same with gearing. Stock I have 3.55 but it was coming up to like 3.2 or 3.3 something. I would check the settings just to make sure.

I have changed tire sizes, so I will always have to customize it. It also means when I return to stock, the reading will be about 5% slow.
