New 04-06 4.6L Supercharger!!!

I just called Scott at Allen Engineering. They have a supercharger kit for our new 4.6L F150's. The new kit has a 6 LB pulley and flows about 45 LBS of air. The kit is not carb legal yet, but they plan on having it ready for sale before the SEMA Auto Show, which I think is in November. The kit is direct bolt on kit(no mods to the fuel rails). Scott said that the sysetm is good for about 390 to 400 HP at the flywheel. He said that the system will run you just under $5000 and come with everything needed including a flash tuner. He does have a gen 1 system in stock that is carb legal and will fit, but you have to put about a 5 degree bend in the fuel rail.

Contact Allen Engineering at:

Phone number is (805)659-0200
Address P.O. Box 3723 Ventura, CA 93006

The website is www.allenengine.com, but you wont find anything about the new system because it aint even carb aproved yet so they have not put it on their website. I called Scott and he is going to send me what he has on the system so I can get an idea what we are working with here.It should be about a month or two to get it ready for production. Its will carry a heavey price tag, but it is much needed.

Why does it need to CARB approved to be sold in any state but Cali? CARB indeed has strict emissions in California. But you forget Florida, and most other states, do not have emission laws.

I think that it is because they are based out of Cali.
