Additional 2" of lift

i am looking to lift my truck another 2 inches, mabye just an inch to help with my 38's. i dont wanna do a spacer because i want to go with coilovers for christmas, resulting in my 1-2 inch increase in lift. so what can i go with? i dont wanna get kings cause i dont need anything that great, nor do i wanna spend the 1200 bucks for them. i was thinking dirt logics but i was told they are too short even when cranked to get even a little more then 8 inches.

so my choices would be......?

Run the DLs with a 2" billet spacer and crank them an inch.

1" shouldn't be too bad but no matter what you do its going to change the CV angles, unless you buy a new lift made for that much lift.

that truck in your gallery that you want your truck to look like, is that just a fabtech and coilovers? That looks pretty high

EDIT nvm...it has a body lift. Have you thought about a body lift?

i have thought about it.....but as i hear not too good for off roading, and i dont want 11 inches of lift.....just 1" possibly 2 inches more cause i can do heavier off roading with these 38;s and not hit anyting

and as i said i want some coilovers so i can offroad harder.

ok pat i am in the same position as u are i want another 1-2 inces but if u go dirt logics u need to use a 2" spacer on top then crank them an inch or soo. but before u go buy new coilovers u have to get some measurment on how far up the coil spring starts from the bottom bolt hole of the dirt logics. because they have to clear the tie rods and rack and pinion. i have not got a set in front of me yet to do this maybe someone who has them can help us out with some numbers?

Pat, a body lift will be fine for the amount of offroading you're going to be doing.

Trust me. I have a friend with a 2001 F-150 with a 6" Fabtech + 3" body on a set of 38" Boggers. He hasn't had any problems and Im sure he offroads it harder than you will ever, not being mean or anything. He just beats the hell out of his truck!

yeah i understand thump. thats just what i heard and i wasnt sure if they meant it by heavy offroading or light offroading either.
but once again, i wont have my NEW coilovers to off road with, ill still have my stockers which i dont trust offroading on a 8-10 inch lift.
but i dont wanna go with a 3 inch body lift cause i think 11" of lift with 38's....that my 38's would look a little too small.....

one inch difference i know sounds stupid....just how i look at it.

Trust me, it won't look stupid. I have a friend sitting on 11" with 38 MTZs.
