Instead of buying flashy wheels while living in a bad neighborhood, save the money until you can live somewhere better, and then still put multiple locking lugs on with an alarm.

Best alarm is a Shot Gun...motion sensor outside that shines a damn flood light in your house when it turns on so you know. Could be annoying, but the best way to make sure no intruders are taking your wheels.

I think the same...but my place is decently populated and taking some wheels off that are pretty damn heavy will be a task. If they get stolen, insurance is always here.

How about a nice big rottweiler or pitt bull? Or better yet BOTH! Behind a 10 foot fence with razor wire on top of course.

If he had that kind of fence he could just park it in the yard.

Do they make anything to disguise the wheels when parked? Kinda like the radio covers. You could get some $5 wheel covers from Wal-Mart and just plaster those over them at night!

How about a trigger switch from the center cap to an IED and blow the whole truck up, not only will you kill the bas*#*! but you can get a new truck in the process, sure the driveway may now become a swimming pool, but hey its just a perk of doing the job.

I have a set of locking lugnuts on my new wheels. I looked into putting multiple sets on per wheel, but the wheel guy said, "If someone really wants your wheels, he will get them." So I have an alarm with a 2-way remote and a set of wheel locks. That's about all you can do.

Plus, if someone knows your truck, wheel covers at night won't help much. Locking your wheels is like locking your truck. Just because you have locks and an alarm doesnt mean that someone cant get into your truck.

Insurance is your best bet. If they get stolen they are covered.
