I also remember way back that asinatra (kinda miss the guy hehe) mentioned maybe gray OEM's coming out as well, but I've never heard another peep about those. Don't want gray, but hoped they'd take the desire away from the Harley's and maybe the price would drop.
Aren't the 07 f150 fx2's headlight surrounds grey inside? I vaguely remember that.

yep, the 07 FX2's are grey and I think the 07 FX4 Luxury package also comes with the grey lights and body-colored H-grille.

I thought about getting the FX2 grey lights plus FX2 dark grey billet grille, would go good with my silver and dark shadow grey, but I already got the money invested in the black lights and I'm not wasting anymore.

I know to use clear silicone, but where are you guys putting it? Like around the lamp insert? Or around the seals on the edges?

I put mine all the way around, wasn't going to poke n hope I got it right. My Depo's had black gook between the lens and housing, I just added the silicone there right on top with a little on the lens and a little over the housing.

Stick with the lights and grille you have Steve. I saw a few 07 FX2 on the lot and I like them but the grille does not impress me,nothing great and I would not swap out my HD for it no way!

I considered doing that as my truck sits outside and gets covered in dew every night. I left the bulbs alone and I get no fog. If your bulbs are kinda loose, might not be a bad idea, but I doubt you need it.
