sparkplug substitution available?

So since we have an iron ended sparkplug inserted into an aluminum head (5.4 2004) and since that has caused problems in changing plugs (ends breaking off in the head), does anyone know if Ford has come out with a different plug???
Assuming we get the plugs out successfully, should we put the same plug back in?? Seems a little stupid to do that.
Is there a new Ford plug for the trucks? Yet?
Are they working on it?
Or, does some aftermarket company have a new plug with a non-iron elongated tip ?
Seem to be an important factor, No?
What are you replacing your plugs with?

The only alternative plug I am aware of is the Autolite HT1 or HT0(colder) which is Autolite's version of the exact same design plug. The ground sleeve is not iron, it is platinum nickel and platinum iridium. Here is a link to a diagram with explanation. https://www.f150online.com/galleries...9388&anum=7995

Is this a better plug? Less chance of it breaking.

As far as I can tell it is the exact same plug with Autolite's name on it. I haven't changed mine out yet as I only have 18k on the originals. I have the Motorcraft replacements already on hand. I wonder if the ground sleeve could be TIG welded to the jam nut to keep it from separating? Hmmmm...

Do you know what the part #is for the '04 plug?

Hi.

An E3 plug is another BS marketing trick, very much like Bosch's "+4" crappola.

Google ... http://www.e3sparkplugs.com/

No part #'s. They don't have a cross-reference for any Ford 3V modular motors.

You'll be waiting a long time, me thinks.

Meanwhile, there's Autolite & Motorcraft, plus frequent & proper maintenance.

Cheers
Bubba
