Torza tonneau covers...

Does anyone have any experience with these? I'm looking for a cover for my '04 flareside, and this one looks pretty cool. My buddy has one on his Dodge Mega Cab and digs it. Thanks for any info!

Looked at a few locally, they are priced just below the "Premium" brands like Truxedo, Extang, Bakflip, etc. Seemed pretty sturdy, and the shop said the have not any any problems with the ones they have sold, but that they sell way more of "Name" brands, mostly Truxedo LoPro for soft covers, Leer for Hard, and RollNlock for rollups...

78Staff, you and I have the same truck, except mine is white. How do you like the Ford cover? Does it sit inside the plastic trim on the bed? I'm concerned that if I get a cover that requires removing the trim, it won't look right.

I've had one for a few years and love it. Great cover, well worth it.

Tucker1154, can the Torza be folded from the front? I have a tool box that sits lower than the frame rails, and it'd be great to access it without removing the entire cover. How does the Torza fit with the bed caps? TIA!

Well, it's OK. It is the snap version, which is kind of a pita sometimes, but it does what is is supposed to do . It's two years old and has held up well, and you can lower the tailgate without undoing anything, which is nice. It is also pretty watertight for the most part. If you get drenched hard for a few hours a little (just a little) water can seep in.

It sits on top of the rail trim, (with a thin foam strip in between) and clamps underneath. It also has the hoops that raise up above the tonneau level, which some people don't like (covered wagon effect), but it doesn't bother me at all. The one thing I don't like is that you cannot open near the cab. If you want something near the cab you either need to crawl in or undo alot of snaps. I finally duct taped some cord around my big rubbermaind container so I can pull it out, and I push it back in with another flat container that my golf cubs ride in. Duct tape solves just about anything

But that's why I was looking at a full tilt or flip-style, easier access.

EDIT - here is a closer pic from fordtruckparts...

EDIT # 2 - forgot to say that if I did not have any cover, I would definatly step up to a snapless at least, for less than $60-70 more over the snap version I believe it would be well worth it.

Thanks! The input I'm getting reinforces my thoughts of a flip/fold style with no snaps.
