Hey again SilverBullet..."StealerShip" you hit that dead on the money. If at all possible I stay the heck away from them. I do understand that if the "Stealership" is hunting for a reason for your problems the "Programmer/tuner" is going to be it. I also agree that they can manipulate their findings to blame the consumer for ALL the problems with the vehicle. When I do go to the dealership I try to make sure my truck is as close to stock as possible and clean as a whistle... I do not want to give them any reason to suspect "Negelect or Modifications' as being the reason for their product failures.... BoB

Hey I want to mention the PCM reflash to my dealership for my next visit since I have experienced hesitation on the highway - is there a specific TSB number or anything specific I should mention?

I've owned 5 other fuel injected Fords including an 86 Mustang GT and a 99 SHO and never experienced throttle response like this. My 97 150 with the 4.6 ran better than this one, and seemed to have as much power. I guess those 220 horses were Clydedales while the 300 in this 150 are Shetland ponies. Maybe the 07 Dodge Hemi would be worth a look see.

PS: As far as aftermarket stuff is concerned. Why should I have to spend another 500 bucks to fix a $35,000 truck?
No kidding!!! That's ridiculous!

I test drove a 2004 FX4 SuperCrew when they first came out in the summer and i was not impressed did not notice any of the 300 ponies my 2001 F150 Supercrew ran better and stopped better and thats with one of the rear brakes not working full of axle gear oil.

BTW isn't it the AMERICAN way to modify everything and make power so I could careless if you paid 10k for a truck to 45k thats your own fault, speed and power dont come cheap boys.

Also the F250, F350 powerstroke owners Dodge owners and Chevy/GM owners fork over at least upwards of 2k to 4k for power adders on their diesels and their trucks start at about 45k food for thought havent heard any of them whine about it.
