Do you have this vibration? How much is it? Are you sure Rize makes it or do they just distribute it?

CANNONFX4

Do you have any vibes? But, yes Im still going to Black Sky. It will only be a couple more weeks, about middle of September!

yeah i get it.....i mean its not real bad but noticeable.....my passenger seat back bounces back and forth about 1/2 a inch in either direction (front to back)

you can feel it...
and the directions says "you can do the appropriate modifcation to the driveshaft or use Rize replacement shaft" so im guessing its theirs.

the modifcation mentioned is installing a CV joint on the transfer case side of the shaft. but its not required at all.

like i said its not a bad vibration but you knwo its their.

It could be that you have a tire with bad road force or out of balance.

Are those rims hub centric? Meaning do they fit EXACTLY to the bolt pattern with no movement what so ever? If not, then that's most likely your problem.

In that case buy hub centric rings from Mazzi from your style truck and rim combination. They're about $25.

Then have the rims and tires HUB CENTRIC BALANCED with a Haweka style balancing adapter.

That will be the closest balance you'll ever have a chance of getting and should take away the vibe your describing. I know because I had the same symtoms and that was my fix for the new rims and tires (though no lift).

It'd be better to go down this route first then have to buy a new drive shaft. I read Rize's website and it talks about that drive shaft solution being mainly for trucks with extremely high torque (like a superduty truck).

If you dont like the front x-member cover it with a skid plate.

yeah thump.....rize makes a replacement driveshaft for our trucks. cause theres a vibartion around 70+ and a vibration in 4WD 40+

and it will last longer in better condition.
if your getting a vibe in 2wd it aint the front driveshaft. id doesnt turn in 2wd we have vacume hubs not a live axle setup.

How so ? My truck got 15mpg stock? Glad you finally got your lift kit. I wish I knew someone in the houston area who wanted a Fabtech. I'm trading my truck in. I would of basically given the kit away. 500 bucks.

Pat, it's funny considering our age how we are able to travel sanely @ 50-60mph. I was getting 22-23.xmpg @ 54mph on cruise, that was my sweet spot before the lift. Now I can get around 19.6-21mpg depending on the wind...which really has an effect on me now. I haven't regeared like you, can you spin them using your brake? I can spin my 37's w/3.73's but I'm not stock and with my flowmaster gutting my low end, it's hard to get them spinnin but I can, I think your 4.56's would spin them fine. There is no slack or give and that makes it harder to lift these heavy *** grapplers and aim them through the hub stems, hope that answers your question.

What years did you play? Too bad I don't drink so no I wasn't too drunk to read it and too bad I can read even though I did go to UGA. Last but not least I'm sorry to say that my brother makes less money than me and probably won't be anytime soon considering I will soon have my doctorate. I hate hearing you Techies whine. Its the same with all of you, even my brother. You always have to try to top someone somehow when in the end, it always comes full circle. "Well we didn't beat you in football, but at least our SAT scores were higher." All that . At least you picked the right truck, the only truck- FORD! I love messing with Techies! Its very easy to get in their head and they can't take a little friendly fire. Good luck this year! Hope Quentin doesn't hurt Reggie!
