ON my way home from work last night and I see this new f150 SuperCrew in the lans beside me. He had a hard bed cover with a wing on the back, Exhaust tips straight out the back, and "GT F150" stripes down the rocker panels.

we come to the next stop light and the guys infront of me turn and so do the guys infront of him. So now we're beisde each other at the light. Both of us have our windows down... He shouts over "Nice truck"
I say thans.. followed by, "You wanna run em?" He said "sure".

He jumped the light a little, but before we were out of the intersection i was almost a truck length ahead... After that... I let off at about 70 and he was way behind me. I slowed down and he slowly pased me and gave me a thumbs up.

 

I would hope you can beat a SCREW with a modded regular cab with 4:10s. That probably wasn't worth wasting your gas.

 

Try picking on someone your own size, like those trucks with SVT on em...

Better be careful as to what Supercrew you pick on...There are some out there that will burn you....

 

What are the chances he'll see me at a stoplight. j/p, I'm not even sure of the mods he has and off the line I'm target practice...from a roll you'll be seein my fanny!

I'd love to race another F150 around here, this is a video racing Eric's (2005fx4) Supercab Fx4. I had e-fans, pullies, exhaust, intake, (still had my cats), XCal2, etc. That is the difference from bone stock to near full bolt on status. Nothing special.

I won't find one out here in western Kentucky. But yeah, I know what you mean... My truck in the 1/4 would be lucky to get below 14.5.. And 14.5 in the 1/4 is not very fast.

I ran an 8.93@78 in the 1/8, but once you factor in aerodynamics..... My guess is about 14.5 maybe 14.4 in the 1/4.

i hate that they have these dealer trucks with practically stock motors and appearane mods and put "GT F150" on them... IMO if you are going to sell something with "GT" on it, you better make sure its fast...

i just hope the owners of these trucks know that their trucks arent any faster than regular ones

and speaking of SVT, i got to pull up next to a lightning on the interstate today. we were rolling at about 65 and he decides to floor it so i played along. he got ahead of me because he went first, but i stayed right on him till we reached about 100-105 and he let off (thankfully because i had just reached the speed limiter anyway ). i was suprised but my truck kept right up
