WOW! That was close, I recived mine on July 14 "applies only to 2006 vehicles sold on or after July 14." Which still sucks who knows what Ford is thinking could be one reason there going under!

What an absurd buch of whiners some of you people are...

You should have KNOWN something like this was coming and put off your purchase until August...

I knew there would be some criticism over this post

If you noticed I never complained about the price I paid for my truck, and your 100% right about the MUCH lower prices you can get if you wait towards the later part of the year. But everything you’re trying to compare things to are from one year to another not the same year.

What I’m saying is you don’t change something like the warranty midyear and not offer at least a discount for the other customers who bought that year.

I’ve been in business for myself for 16 years manufacturing airplane, space shuttle & satellite parts. And it’s no secrete that if I treat my customers as if their number one they’ll keep coming back to me. I would never change something midyear. If I give one customer a warranty/Guarantee then I give all my “recent” (key word) customers the same.

I’m not bashing Ford products this is my forth F150 in the past eight years. In my opinion it’s bad business what their doing and you don’t have to agree

Is the 5/50 only on powertrain? or does it cover everything like the 3/36?

Speaking of refunds, I traded my '04 Ranger in for my (used) '05 F150. I am supposed to get a refund on the unused portion of the purchased extended warranty. To date, I have not seen a penny. Anyone know how to go about getting the ball rolling on that?

Geez, I was kidding. I didn't know I was going to be called out and labeled as a whiner for a bad case of sarcasm. Sorry.

I don't think I will have any issues with my power train from now until 2008 when I trade it in on the new F-250. It really doesn't matter to me.

Awww thumper, i was just messin around. But i honestly dont see them budging on this. b.c lets say they move it back to inclue all that were sold in calender year 2006, and then the people that bought last fall-winter are gonna be like WTF why not me too. I think if they move at all on this, they are gonna have to include everyone that owns an 06 no matter when they bought it.
