Talking 35" Toyo MT's mounted...

Finally got the tires mounted...I think they look great. 2.5 AS in the front, stock on the back. Will drive a bit and decide if I want/need an AAL in the rear. Here are some quick pics, a few more closeups in my gallery. Will take some better shots after I get it all cleaned up...

The Toyo's were $190 each through dealer - Knuckeheads in service gouged two out of four caps, and service mgr agreed to replace. I mean how hard is it to pop center caps...take 20 seconds and use a shop rag or rubber tipped tool for out cryin out loud.

Still trying to decide about a spare...can't make up my mind whether to go ahead and order a 5th tire or just use a compressor and plugs for normal stuff, and use AAA/Roadside for anything unusual.

Also, they take a bit of throttle to get moving, but once rolling it goes fine. I set the truck back to stock since I was at the dealer but the Edge is going back in this afternoon. Shoud help with the throttle response for sure.

Road noise is not bad, definately quieter than the BFG MT's I had previously...there is a little hum above 45 or so but nothing obnoxious.

Looks great. What size exactly are the tires? Any problems with rubbing? I really want to put some 35s but am afraid I will have problems. I have the 2.5 AS also. Thanks!

The tires are 35x12.50x17, no rubbing so far, at least under normal driving.

Looks good!! I was wondering if you could measure a couple of things for me, from the ground to the fenderflare both front and rear, and also the distance between the tires and flares front and rear? I am thinking about putting 35's on my stock 18's and just want to know roughly what it will sit like.

Thanks alot.
