So what are they, double deuces or twankies?

Nonetheless, glad you made it.

Couldn't have been too hard with a 4x2 but maybe those lil mirrors help in the tight spots

yup the stock dumbo ears would have been knocked of on a couple of trees. and I was able to creep under some low limbs due to my lowered stance.

Those mirrors are tough to love..I like the big mirrors because they make backing up very easy. I would never think to go with something smaller.

Is it off-roading or a dirt road to the campsite.

Just giving ya a hard time.

I've still got a nearly brand new set of 05 Lariat rims (with the beige trim) in my shed I haven't mounted. I still have the 04 Lariat rims on. I'll never do anything bigger or chrome...they'd just get messed up.

I understand where your coming from the funny thing is that the mirrors are almost as wide as the stock mirrors the main difference is in the height. I would say I lost about 3-4 inches of vertical and maybe and inch horizontal. they are actually not as small as they appear. they are about as big as the mirrors on my old minivan and bigger than the mirrors on most sedans.. I can see just as much in the lanes behind me as the stockers but with the added benefit of the led turn signals facing front/side and rear. its not like I need to see aircraft when I'm backing anyway. the main thing was the added safety with the turn signals.

lol it was one of those lumpy dirt roads. just about any car could have made it out there tho. my personal preference is anything bigger than 20s should be silver. I've already had a few people tell me my 22s look factory just because they are used to seeing everyone else riding on chrome

lol that's hilarious. those rims are ugly as sin. I'm sure my dads ghetto girlfriend would like them if you painted the little spokes pink. ya you all think I have bad taste? HA my dads girlfreind drives a silver monte carlo with pink racing stripes and pink around the bottom of the car. its rolling on 20 inch laxani mistyks with pink detail... and it looks horrid

Friday night I went about 100 yards down a dirt road on my 24s....excuse me on my "Twankie Fo's". They seem to do quite well...traction wasn't too good but I made it through using throttle control and momentum. Thank goodness for the LS rear end though...had it not been for that I might still be there.

I love my mirrors, but I'll side with you on this. If you've seen the sturgeon's bend video of mine you'd see I smashed my mirror between a tree and a dead bush, $@*( jeep trails. Either way you can fold them in, can you?
