My brakes are great. Some jabroni pulled out in front of me the other day while I was going 65. I slammed on the brakes, and it stopped on a dime.

Only Ford offers standard vented disc brakes and standard four wheel ABS, which means brakes that perform well and recover from quick frequent or long grade stops more quickly.

Dodge offers four wheel vented disc brakes but only offers standard ABS on the rear wheels.

Despite the science behind vented disc brakes, the Toyota Tundra features standard rear drum brakes.

Nissan Titan has non-vented rear discs.

Chevy moved from disc brakes in 04 to drum brakes in 05 and 06.

LoL...see my above posts.

Im pretty sure the fact that you dont have any problems doesnt help the guy who is having problems.

So telling him you had it in 6 times without satisfaction is helping the guy who is having problems? Yeah right. I guess some people just want everyone to think like them and be negative and hopeless. If I was having this problem I wouldn't want to hear everyone complaining about how horrible their brakes. Hearing from people who aren't having problems would at the very least give me hope that this isn't a big problem or that it can be fixed.

Uhh, brake failures are a big problem, I dont care how many people tell you that they aren't having problems. And knowing that someone else does not(or has not) had the problem I have, means that they cannot relate and really have no experience with the problem. Just because they dont have the problem, it does not make me feel better, and of course we all know the problem can be fixed, its frustrating when the dealer does not take the time to fix it.

In dedication to you, I will from now on post, "I dont have that problem" to any problem posted to see what type of reaction it gets. Then we will test your theory.

If you want to post you don't have that problem to every post, go ahead. You have that right. Then we all can all be like you and post it has been in 6 times without satisfaction to every post and "test your theory." What I'm telling you here is stop telling people what to post and what not to post. I'm tired of it and I know a lot of other people are as well.

So i have decided that im going to go up to the dealership and tell them look you either fix em or i dont want it back and see how that works out. Theres nothing like that feeling on knowing that theres nothing you can do about it if and when the situation arouses.
Glad to here that you didn't end up hauled off in an ambulance. Sounds like a major brake problem if you have to take the bounus lane bacause you couldn't get stopped.

Definatly try another dealer if you can't get the problem fixed, hope you get it figured out.

Is it possible that you can speak to the Service Manager or try a different dealer? I would think that they should be doing something to stop your problem (oooh, that's punny!)

Seriously, I THINK WE'VE ESTABLISHED THAT SOME DO/DON'T HAVE PROBLEMS, so find a service manager that can satisfy you or move your business.
