Having a frustrated/weak moment....

Had to vent a bit…I'm just very frustrated this morning and it's not work appropriate to stand up in my office and scream obscenities.

1. Tire balance - bought the hub centric adapters and paid to have them re-balanced. Everything is fine 85% of the time but sporadically it'll starting shaking

2. Ground wire on Pioneer HU for sub - the dumb thing must have come lose again because now I have static over the sub all over again. Here's to taking apart the dash again.

2b. Almost forgot...a squeeky drivers seat which the dealer said was normal...now I get to have an argument on whether or not a 1 year old truck should have a squeeky seat.

AND WORST OF ALL

3. Over the weekend someone took four keys to the rear drivers door of my supercrew. They're not deep (can't feel them in the paint with finger) so I'm hoping I can use some 81 and Scratch-X to get them out. Here's to hours of detail and paint work to remove the 10 seconds of rude behavior by some ***** who will never amount to anything more in life then the sludge that gets pissed on in the gutter of an impoverished town that is plagued with terminal sickness. I'd like to take those keys to his skin and see how good he is at buffing those scratches out. Not that I'm upset or anything….

Thoughtfully yours,

Duke

I'd have to beat the holy hell out of someone for that. Small ammount of jail time is worth it.

Good luck getting it out man!

I tell you...if I didn't use this truck for things like the drive-in movies, moving friends, putting up fences, camping, and hopefully next summer towing a boat...I'd trade this thing in on the new Infiniti G35 in a heartbeat.

I'm just tired of spending a day fixing problems.

Especially if you start the morning off with a shot of the good stuff!

An armed society is a polite society. I'd be a little more nervous about keying someones ride if I knew they might catch me AND have a piece. Or is that Montana???

Decided to take on these problems and was making headway till I noticed this morning that paint is chipping off the passenger's side bed where it was repainted from the accident. When it rains it pours.... I'm off to the body shop this afternoon to talk to them about it.

INPROCESS

Working with two shops on the fix. Think it might be a out of round right front tire.

DONE

Took apart the dash again last night and confirmed it was the quick clips I used on the stock ground wire for the sub. Cut into the wire and created a well sodered connection that ran to another well sodered connection for the ground wire.

So far it hasn't cut out or had it's static problems!

This one is low on the priority list since I have another 16,000 miles to deal with it. I'll go in there and tell them the initial response wasn't acceptable and have it fixed.

I'll be going camping this weekend and when I get back I'll be detailing the truck. Though I may have the body shop do it since it looks like the passenger's side bed will need to be repainted because it is chipping off from the accident repaint job.

Yup I have a DA. It's been one event after another. I'm be able to smile if I can get this steering wheel puller to work.

Oddly humorous but still not REALLY!

I learned my lesson, no driving through snow storms to the cabin.
