Same. But my solution is usually turn up the music, rev to hear my cutout or just listen to my tires whine (35" KM2s) .

I think that's Ford's favorite canned answer, "It's normal." My dealer used to get fancy on me when I would inquire about something. They'd say to me, "It's a characteristic of the truck."

My seat doesn't squeek but my ashtray make an annoying noise.like a rattle and a vibration put together. I reseved a recall slip in the mail for the brake booster vac. hose or what ever, and the guys there wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for a new ashtray and ashtray slider piece thing they said. i told them I don't use the thing so I don't care double side tape it was!!!! no prob opening it because I velcroed it so i can still use for business cards or change..sorry if it is off topic but i had too, they will get the money were they can and try and get a good buck for doing nothing...

I have a 2008 with only 8900 miles and it has been in for the creaking seat issue 4 times with different new parts put in on 3 of those occasions. Still not fixed.

Anyone have an actual "fix" I could share with my dealer?

XLRASHIN,

My ENTIRE SEAT was replaced, see my post back in July 2009. The problem is already back. I'm afraid that this is a fundamental problem with the design of the seat.... Also tried lubricating, to no avail.

Its coming from where the "seat basket" meets the frame of the seat. I have no better way to describe this. Mine was on the outside. Pull back the plastic piece, and look for a ~1" circular tubing meeting a think piece of the "cushion basket" Its metal on metal. I jammed a flathead in there and pried them apart. It fixed it for a while... I was so mad about the creaking that I pried enough to break of the screwdriver! Good news is, the broken driver has kept the thing from making any noise for about 10,000 miles!

My 04 is still solid, no squeaking.

I had this issue on the last 2 trucks I had including the one I am driving now. Both time the dealership had to take the seat out and mgyver a few of the little rungs that support the *** cushion and weld a few things to get it out, but both times they removed it 110% it drove me nuts !!

After no response from Ford and no fix for 6 months I traded the truck off. Couldn't stand it anymore. Driving a new Silverado now.
