E85 with the Edge

is anybody have a FFV an have the edge. Do you notice any differaces when you have E85 in the tank. Also what level do you have it set on. I'm most likely geting a Flex Fuel F150 and I want to get the edge right away so I'm wondering if the two are compatable?

I currently have the 5.4L FFV, but have not been able to find any information about the Edge and the FFV engine. Keep us informed if you find out anything.

I seriously doubt that the FFV is going to make a difference.

All the FFV motor has that the regular 5.4 doesn't, is a beefed up fuel system. Such as stainless steel fuel lines. Ford has simply gone in and removed any rubber component that fuel might touch. This is due to the fact that ethenol will eat up rubber.

I think you will be safe

I would call edge support and see if they have seen any issues with it.

I had this same question when I bought my 06 FFV. I called EDGE and they said it would work fine. Althought I have yet to run a tank of E85 in my truck, there are no pumps close to where I live.
