Headlights

Are the headlights in th '04+ trucks able to be disassembled? Ihave a brand new set of 2006 Range Rover headlights that I got super cheap that I was thinking of modifying to fit my F150.

I'd have to advise against cracking open the headlight housing. If you do, you will develop condensation on the inside of the housing and it will look like crap.

Well I picked up a set of new spares for $25 so if I screw one set up I'm not all that worried.

where'd you find the rover headlights?

you sure can....throw the oven on to bout 300F, shut it off, then put the headlight in for ~10 min. take it out and try a putty knife to pry it open. i wrap my lights in a cotton rag so they don't touch any hot metal directly. remember to turn off the over first! if they're like the fog lights, the glue will be like dry plastic not rubber.

I was thinking you can do that with the headlights. I knew you could with Ranger headlights and assumed F150s were the same way. I picked the Rover lights up on Ebay for $50 for the pair. I saw them right after they were listed and contacted the seller about ending early. He said it would take a lot to end it early, said $50 is what he needed before he'd end it so I jumped on it.

$50 for brand new Rover lights is a steal considering they sell for close to $1500 from the dealer.
