Welcome

You probably already know this, but tuners make these trucks come alive...Either Troyer custom Tune or the Edge. Either way you won't be sorry.

Third...check out the Northeast forum. Were planning a trip to Paragon in PA. Let us know if you want to get the new truck dirty

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. Funny thing, Brew. I was just now reading the 7 page thread you guys have about Paragon and I started drooling just thinking about it. I'm going down to Wildwood that weekend though (I think it's the bike weekend if I'm not mistaken) and then I'm off to California for a couple weeks of vacation. A shame I'll miss Paragon, but not a shame I'll still be off from work and kicking back! I really appreciate the invite though. I hope you guys take some photos to share.

I'm from Middlesex County, btw. Was Edison though the wife and I just moved to Metuchen last year.

I've been spending a lot of time reading up on the tuners, though I really haven't made a decision yet. Thanks for the feedback.

Ahh, bike week in Wildwood..thank god I'll be out of town. You cant move down here that weekend. It's fun, I'm sure but just not anything I get involved in, so going to Paragon will be much better.

If this trip goes well and we all like it, I'm sure we will do it again. Hopefully you can make it to that one...Have fun in Wackywood and then in Cali

I'm with you, amigo. I don't ride a bike personally, it just happens to be the weekend we go down for an annual family reunion. We used to go down for the fireman's weekend, but it got too hard to find an open hotel.

Flipup, welcome to the board. Have fun with the new rig and beware of the wisecrack-ers.

Nice truck. Just a question? Why is there carpet in your bed? why not a box liner??

Thanks. That's a good question, actually. I was going back and forth in the forums and with friends, listening to the pros and cons of both a drop-in and a spray-in liner. And I was having a hard time making up my mind.

I finally caught wind of the Bedrug and was able to check out another truck in person that had carpet. I was impressed with not only the price and ease of installation, but I liked the look and durability as well. I'm not going to come in here and herald the Bedrug as being as durable as a drop or spray-in, but for my needs it will suit just fine.

In any case, knowing me, there will be times I kick myself for not going another route, just like I'd kick myself for not getting the carpet had I taken a pass on the Bedrug. Overall, I'm happy with my choice. And now with the tonneau on top it's so inviting in the back of my truck that I'd consider sleeping back there.
