07; to Flex fuel or not?, plus navigation system?
The NAV system was the only thing I didn't like about my '04 (not having it as an option). And it's what will get me to pony up for the new '09 when it comes out; that and some of the damn rattles (rear window and rear passenger door) and the hum from the engine when you step on the gas (I HATE that noise).
Thankfully it's a beauty on the outside, so I can wait until the refresh. Point being, get the NAV for sure.
And for that guy on here somewhere who said he'd only upgrade if the truck had a heated steering wheel option, you can buy the new Chevy/GMC truck with heated steering wheel now. It's yet another boring looking truck from them, but there ya go. At least they copied a lot of what Ford did with the '04-'06 model, it's a start for them. I watched an hour long video launching the new models, and boy, there was nothing exciting at all. That's why I recalled the heated steering wheel option, because it was about the most exciting thing about their new trucks, that and perhaps the new bed storage system for those who use their beds for work stuff. I laugh every time I see the new "raised bed height" or "largest bow-tie in the industry" on them. Seems like they played a lot of 'follow-the-leader'.
So boring...
