Any hints at removing the overhead console in an 06 supercrew? I can't see any screws, and I'm guessing it's a "pull hard" type of thing, but I tried that already and didn't want to break anything by pulling the wrong way.

I'm assuming you mean the bins attached to the rails. Put your palms against the bin and grip the clips on either side with your fingers. Push up slightly while pressing the clips down, the bin should just pop off.

 

Sorry, I should have been more specific. no, I'm talking about the non-overhead rail console. It's the one that contains the dome lights and a single flipdown bin in one unit.

 

Looks like someone answered my question in the supercrew forum yesterday. Guess I should have looked a little harder first.
