Compass Sensor

Just had the windshield on my 2006 F-150 replaced. The compass sensor that is located behind the rear view mirror is loose. I do not remember it being this way before. If appears to just be clipped on to the mirror. How is it suppose to mount to the mirror so that is is not loose? I can move it up and down with my hand.

Thanks,

Tom

Are you talking about the 3 inch square box infront of the mirror? I was thinking that was for the auto-lamps. I looked at mine, and looks like there is a rod connecting the mirror and sensor. It seems like it is just snapped it.

Thanks. I believe the auto-lamp sensor is on the dash.
