Need help from anyone with Edge!!!

I've been experiencing some problems with my truck lately, it keeps throwing the wrench light, stumbling, and then going into "limited power mode". The two code that I got off using the Edge were P2106, which is the forced limited power mode, and P2135, which is throttle position sensor voltage error. I suspect that it will need a new TPS or throttle body, and scheduled an appointment at the dealer for next week.

Here is my problem: I want to remove my Edge controller because the truck is still under warranty and I know they will give me crap if they see that I have it tuned, so I went ahead and reloaded the stock tune, unhooked the battery to clear everything out, and went for a drive to let the codes build back up and to let the P2106 and P2135 codes get recorded again. The thing is, my truck still acts like it is tuned! I have 35's on it, and I used the edge to correct the speedo, but even on the stock tune my speedo is still accurate. Also, the truck still revs to 5700, and shifts from 1-2 at 5200 just like I had the edge still on it. Also, the 100mph speed limiter is gone. What the...

The only thing I am afraid of is that somehow the dealer might still find that the truck was tuned. Is there any threat of this as long as the stock tune had been reloaded???

Thanks, allrsdup. I don't think I have a deductible on the warranty, it has a 6yr/48k warranty on it, I only have 26k on it.

Btw, is the tps a common replacement item? Its really acting up on me now, I drove about 10 miles today and had to stop 3 times and shut it off to reset the limited power mode.

i had that exact same problem call your dealer and cancel the appointment. the edge is your problem. you need to call edge, speak to a tier 3 tech and tell them that you need to "force your truck back to stock" when that happen with me there was some sort of miscommunication and the programmer and the stock truck program got mixed so it was running really bad. hope that helps good luck.edge ended up sending me a new one. you are going to need a computer, programmer, and a phone should take about 30 minutes

ford141 - How did you make out with this? I am getting similar trouble codes and I returned my truck to stock but I did not notice much difference in performance. Hmm I'm thinking that I have the same problem. Does anyone else have anything to offer?

PS - My wife is a little torqued because of my mod. She's worried about getting stranded.
