Not too bad really. BUT, she's getting gears soon. Haven't made up my mind between 4:10 or 4:56. But for the moment it's tolerable without overdrive up to about 70, then o/d will come in and it's slightly piggish, but not really as bad as I thought it would be.

My friend had a 82 Silverado with 38s that he put 4:10s on, and belive it or not, we could not tell that big a difference. He ended up, later on going with the 4:56s and that made a world of difference. It cost him a lot of $$$ though. 2 gear jobs, front and a rear isnt' cheap, lol!
From my past experience, I was pretty safe with 4:10's, going to 4:56's I began to break stuff. I see what you mean though, going from a 3:55 to a 4:10 may not provide much of a difference. If I do go to 40's in the future, the 4:56's would already be there if I do it now, so it does look like the 4:56.
