Super Rough Idle

So, its about 100+ here in KS and my truck was running good until I stopped at a light. With the A/C cranking, my truck started idling extremely rough. It felt smoothwhen I gave it some gas but then when I released the throttle, it was super rough again. Light turned green and my truck had trouble getting up the hill until i pressed the gas. My temp was good and my engine temp was good via the Edge. Has anybody expericenced this? After I pulled into my driveway, the engine was super smooth at idle. It hasnt done it since. I did a search but didnt see the same symptoms. At least i dont think. I wonder if its my edge on level 3 running 91 shell, or the extreme heat with the A/C cranking. Maybee I should be more rough on the motor. Maybee my truck knows Im going to put Efans on her tomorrow?

When you were stopped were you on a hill. Maybe your gas level in the tank was low and cause it to suck some air, or not enough fuel? BEing that you where on a hill just a thought..

My truck was doing the same thing... Of course the dealer wouldn't look at it when it was actually doing it.. Once it made it to the dealer, it was not doing it anymore... My truck is an 06' F-150 with the 5.4, bonestock except for a borla catback.... Who is a good Ford dealer here in KC? I just moved here not too long ago, and the first dealer I went to was Thoroughbred.. I am not going back there..

I've had good luck with Extreme Ford on the Kansas side. They are located right off of 69 Hwy and 135th Street.

Xtreme is a good distance from me. I guess i Kansas terms. Its about 15 minutes. I dont know of any good dealerships. I have had decent luck with Shawnee Mission but that was a long time ago. When I stopped, I was at the bottom of a hill at a stoplight. I have a full tank of supposvely quality Shell 91. I doesnt do it anymore, but Ill have to continue to check it out. At least I dont feel alone.
