A/C Vents (breaking)

I was just wondering if anyone else is having problems with there a/c vents breaking, In the last 3 months 3 out of my 4 a/c vents have broke. I got one fixed already and next week the dealer is going to replace the other two.

How do they break?

I don't think I've even touched mine in the last 6 months, but if I do, I don't expect them to break.

They just open and close, and rotate.....right?

How can they break from that?

all of 3 of mine have broke by opening and closing them. the piece in the middle would break inward. So now when they are in the closed position they are still half open.

I open and close mine all the time and I have never had an issue with them. Take for granted that my truck is only 3 weeks old but its HOT in Cali and I use them all the time. I close the ones on the pasanger side when no one is in that sent.

KOOL AID: LOL...

FX4 Guy,

I hear that. Here in Norhtern Ca, the last two weeks were 110-113 for almost 2 weeks. Gotta love the heat... NOT!!!
