good adjustments w/ edge??

good adjustments w/ edge??

All you guys running edge,, how close back to being correct is your tac after adjusting for tires and gears. I am running level 2 custom,, adjusting for 456 gears and 325/60-20 which i put in as 2821mm still feel like its about 5mph off

Your speedometer will almost always be off from what the PCM is reporting to the Edge unit. Mine is off 3mph from the factory.

no thats not what i mean,, i know the edge digital will display off a little from the factory tach,, but i want to know since i did a custom adjustment to my new 456 gears and adjusted to the new tire size how close back is the tach to being correct.

When you say tach I assume your talking about the speedometer and not the tachometer since you said it was 5mph off. If so, see below.

The speedometer will always be off. It will never be perfect. You have air tempature, tire tempature (both affect the size of the tire), speed ( the faster you drive the taller the tire gets, that will affect the accuracy of the speedometer. There are way too many factors to factor in to see how much your MPH will be off. The faster your drive...the more it will be off. The only way to know for sure is to check the Edge and compare it to your speedometer and/or GPS.
