I got a flat tire......

This has started about 2-3 months ago and has slowly leaked. I have taken it in twice and they cant find anything. I filled it up 2 weeks ago and this is how flat it got. What should I do??

Did they check the valve stem?

It could be a rim leak or valve stem leak. Pull the wheel off and soak it down with soap and water and see if you can find something.

they said they checked the valve stem beacuse that is known to cause the most leaks on newer tires but they said it was fine. Im not sure if they put it in water but I guess Ill try that if I cant figure it out. Actually it is a very slow leak so will you be able to see the leak with water even though it is that slow?

Well, submerse it, in a kiddie pool or something. The bubbles will congregate where the leak is

What we used to do when i worked in a shop was get a spray bottle and fill it up with bubbles like little kids play with and spray it a the tire and if you see bubbles forming that is were the leak is.

Soap and water in a spray bottle or the bubbles are more affective then the water tank.

If the leak is that small and slow would it be something that using nitrogen instead of air could fix?

I emailed the shop where I got the tire from and they told me to submerge it in water. I guess Ill try the bubbles first before I toss this 90lb thing into my pool. If I find where the leak is how would I fix it??
