roush exhaust differences

Okay, for those of you who want to know the differences between the offroad- and the legal exhausts- A: the legal has more packing in the muffler than the offroad, which has next to none, but is the same size as the offroad, B: it is a 4" tip, but there is 1"of stainless steel absorption packing in the tip, so it goes 4" overall, then a 1" offset so the clear interior dimension is 2-2.75"

how'd i find out" well, i backed into a stump, screwed up my right tip pretty good, gave mike roth a call at woodhouse, got a new tip, roush screwed up the order and i got a legal tip for my offroad system (the offroad tip is 4" stainless steel, clear dimension, no muffler packing)

while i dont know how the 40 series sounds, the roush sounds amazing to me-i love it. the only thing i can tell you about the sound is that theres this chick in my town with an 06 dodge, with a flowmaster super 40 sido, and she stopped me the other day and asked what system i had on my truck, and where she could get one for hers...i told her it was Roush, which is ford only... Borla manufactures the exhaust for roush though. there is definitely no HP loss with the exhaust, and i may venture to say that it boosts the performance due to much better exhuast flow

From the clips I've heard of the Roush, it sounds like it has the "hollow" Mustang sound. Is this true or is it different in person?
