Goodbye/Got Rid Of My F150/Thanks For The Help

Thanks for the assorted help I have received here on various issues with my Lariat Supercrew. I could no longer stand the "unstopable dash rattle", the sqeak in the rear seat, the minor tranny trouble, and now the breaks are causing a vibration in the steering wheel (service guy said it sounds like rotor trouble). So, and be easy on me, I now have a 2006 Avalanche Z71. It is white with the black cladding, and just about every option you can imagine. The kicker was that the interest rate is 0% for 72 months. So, my payment is less, truck actually rides better than my Ford, and now I get lots of "what an ugly truck" looks. Bottom lines is I feel better. Thanks again for the helpfull advise I received here. T

Cladding? Is that another word for 'lots of cheap looking plastic'?

Till about year 3 and you owe a lot more than the truck is worth and want a new one.

And, money is never free.

Hey just think when he's in a parking lot he doesn't have to walk out looking at a shopping car smashed into his door paint. It will hit the cladding. I actually like it with the cladding on it helps when someone opens there door on your car or truck too.

So you sold your truck (taking a loss on it I'm sure) because of some rattles and a squeek? You added that there was a brake problem but the way you worded your post made it sounds like you discovered the brake vibe after you got your POS butt *** ugly Avalanche.
You deserve the Avalanche.
