Lift question...

I think I'm going to buy this lift:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/pro-c...spagenameZWDVW

I know everyone recommends to buy the coilover kit, but I don't plan on doing any offroading so this kit should be fine, right?

The price seems too good to pass up.

THats a good price. dont worry about the coilovers. you can always upgrade if you really want them. as for warranty, I got my front driveshaft and a whole new tranny off warranty when I was lifted. Its just how nice your dealers are

There is a post on that on FTW also. A 6 inch Pro Comp for less than a grand is a heck of a deal as long as you don't get reamed on shipping.

Yeah, before you do anything, find out how much the shipping is going to be...

My comment was more about if you have a problem with the kit, do you have a company to go back to that sold it to you.

oh. thats a good point too although I think the warranty would aply to the shop you get it installed not where you buy the actually product unless there is a defect in the product thats not the shops fault.

S/H is $195 via UPS w/ tracking number. Sounds reasonable, right?

Some shops won't install it unless you buy it from them or they won't honor the warrenty unless you bought it from them.

I would think that if you have a problem with the lift itself, you could deal directly with Pro Comp.

I thought so too. Fabtech's phone reps repeatedly referred me to Sportztrailers refusing responsibility for defective coilovers (bought from sportztrailers). Who knows, if you want real help you'll need to talk to a man in charge, Fabtech has a good guy back there (thanks Armen).
