Question Your opinion on this paint job

I plan to get my new truck painted with the "real fire" paint job... I am buying a silver 2007 F150 4x4 Screw, and want to do black, white, and silver flames... what's your guys opinion?? This is the guy I want to do the paint job... KrooznIllusions Or if i can find someone here in vegas or cali would be better... Anyone know someone that does airbrush?

Danielle

I just flew out of your backyard a few hours ago... I left about $100 in one of those damn slots in the airport too... Go figure, I was up about $50 at one point...

Anyway, as for the flames, that's all up to you. It's not my cup of tea but, I do like the ones that you've shown MUCH more so than I do the ones that you see on muscle cars and such on a frequent basis.

He's been on "Rides" a couple of times and on Overhaulin like 4 times.

He calls it Tru fire. I'm pretty sure he developed it.

I say don't do it.

This is fine for bikes and show cars. But not a daily driver. Too hard to maintain and then it will look like crap if you get a ding in a body panel (which happends to daily drivers)

There are some good lightning pics. About six weeks ago a bolt of lightning hit a 125,000 gallon storage tank full of unleaded gasoline about two miles from my house. The tank was burning on top while the pipeline operator was pumping the gasoline out from the bottom as fast as they could!

I got a chance to see Mike's work in person a couple weeks ago.I saw a car (GTX) at a local car show here in Maine that Mike did his famous flamejob on.I talked to the owner of the GTX and he said he paid for Mike's plane tickets to get him up here plus his fees. You would think why the heck would he want to come way up north here to do one job but it was also a chance for Mike to visit his parents in nearby New Hampshire.BTW the GTX won 1st place in it's class.
Although Mike's work is incredible, I would prefer the subtle look of old school ghost flames that are not as visible except for certain light conditions. However that is just my opinion and I've never been into attracting too much attention.
But I wouldn't criticize anyone else that wants their truck to stand out in a crowd.Good Luck
