Talking SPAL kit installed

Installed the SPAL kit yesterday. Not too bad. 3 1/2 hours. Wiring was pretty staright forward. Sorry, I was flying through it so I didn;t snap any pix until it was over. No white block to worry about.

The SPAL kit is kind of slow and a little noisy but more than fine for what I paid for it. Driver's side takes 4 seconds to roll down, 4.5 to roll up. The passenger's side takes 4.5 seconds to roll down, 5 to roll up. Overall, I'm very happy with it. The speed and sound reminds me of the old Jeep Wagoneer power windows that roll up with the skinny, toothed plastic tracks.

Next mod might be the 4x4 blocks. Still deciding to do it or not. Any suggestions? Yes or No?

Just the 2" AS in front.

What it would look like with the 2" block in rear.

looks good without the block imo, the back looks higher than the front, if u want it higher in the back just get a add a leaf, it would ride alot better too

The blocks will not affect the ride at all. The add-a-leafs will stiffen the ride.
Here's mine with the 2" AS abd 4X4 blocks:

Good looking install. I originally used a universal window kit on my 05 XL. It was great at first, but the noise and the slow speed started bothering me. I purchased the OEM motor/regulators and am VERY pleased now!

Thanks everyone.

Monkey - I'm leaning towards installing the blocks. And yes that's my yellow lab Bailey in the doorway. Everytime I pull the truck around, he thinks we're going to the lake so he can go swimming.

jmpancoast - Thanks. I've read a few of your posts on the OEM regulators. It's the way I'll go if the noise and the slowness get to me. It's ok for now.
