I dropped by the saleen tent during the mustang roundup here in Bellevue (WA) on Sunday, and low and behold they had one of the new trucks on display. One of the reps said they will have individual parts available after the truck goes into production. In person obsersvations:

1) Overall package looks good. The body kit is tasteful without turning it into a blimp.

2) Exhaust is lightning style, except it exits on both sides. They are blended in with the skirts so only the tips are exposed.

3) The fender "vents" looks too cheap, like something you would pick up from autozone.

4) The interior is too sweet, but I think they could have done better with the guages. Judge for yourself........

where do you find tires that are for 21 inch rims

i do like it though, but for the price of it, you could put a whipple, intercooled, your own rims and body style and probably make it a faster truck.

but then again, you dont get the saleen name

yeah 21's and 23's are easily found i like the hood and bumpers and the gauges i would have liked to seen the body kit and how they ran the exhaust

Is the fender vent functional, or just a stick on?

 

It looks OK, but not amazing. I was expecting something more, it just seems like something is missing and i cant put my finger on it!

 

What is that just above the shifter? (between the shifter and the dash)

Is it just a badge or is it something functional?
