Was thinking of doing this as well to my truck, but I hear the installation is challenging..?

I have all the parts collected (hooks, hardware, valance) to add hooks to my 2wd -- now I'm just trying to decide if I really want to do it!

I was easy to remove the valance and hooks. I had to remove the foglights to get to a couple of screws but not a biggy. I am much happier with the look of the 06 valance. The hooks just are not something I needed or really cared about. If anyone is looking for stuff from a FX4 to change the stance or front drop me a line, nuff said.

You can get a good deal on them on Ebay usually, but make sure you get the "mounting plate" thing with the two nuts welded to it or its almost (if not totally) impossible to install them without taking the bumper off.

As for the valance take your time and use a dremal to cut holes in yours. Its very simple to do and with the hooks in place no one in the world would be able to tell you did yourself. And if you happen to screw it up by the 4wd valance then....but try cutting yours first. I did and it turned out perfect.

Yeah I keep searching ebay for OEM tow hooks for an F150 but get nothing. Guess no one there is selling any at the time I look. I looked in the classifieds here and found a couple, but what is a decent price for OEM tow hooks? Thanks.
