Question for the lifted guys...

Hopefully I'll be lifting my 05 soon (depends on how my interview goes ) and was just wondering how the handling is affected with say a 6" kit and 35's. I drive like a maniac and I know cornering will be changed with anything done to the suspension but I just want to get an ideal of how bad. Is it really different or do these trucks handle pretty much the same. Thanks.

My mud grapplers handle very well, they corner great. I took some windy road like a lemans course and they hardly squealed the turns. I was really pushing it, this was when they were fairly new (on the drive to frank raines, where the wheeling video was). I am very proud of the way the truck handles, never feels tipsy. I take that back, when I'm taking a left turn at an intersection I get a little body roll, I hate that. It's close to stock, but if you're trying to take corners at a fast speed these take them so much better than my bald bfg's.

My truck rides great. The only weird feel I got from my truck is when I 1st drove it after the kit was installed. Thats expected when you first drive a lifted truck.

handleing is actully impoved over stock i think.. Mainly due to the wider rims/wheels. This gives you a wide track..

Also the stiffer shocks help do im sure in cornering..
