Sirius and coin holder

hey everyone, i got another question that maybe someone can help me with. i have the sirius streamer, but its mounted by the window suction cup thing, which im not too crazy about. i searched the threads and found out people replaced the coin holder with a mounting bracket that holds the receiver. my question is where did you get the bracket that fits directly into the hole that was once being occupied by the coin holder. also, where did you feed the sat. cable and the power cable (did they go in the hole also). thanks for your help!

i thought about going to the dealership and have them install the factory satellite, but then i cannot pause, rewind, nor see what song or artist is playing.

I didn't replace the coin holder, but I did replace the 12V outlet with mine, so it would be similar. The coin holder spot would be blocked by my gear shift (column shifter).
The bracket for mine came with the Clarion kit. There are some other brackets on eBay that are flexible mounts. I had to trim the base of the mount with a dremel to make it fit in the hole.

After reading other threads, I think they are wires for the 4x4 switch. I guess it is sorta like saving time and just put them there "just in case."

First search. And then go back to your truck, put two fingers in the holder and pull. That should do it...

Just use the coinholder as a mounting plate. Cell phone is very handy there.

This much later picture is the only one I have that kinda shows the clip without the phone.

It is a great place for a phone, but anything like a Sat radio and you may not be able to read the screen.
