Exclamation Borla Exhaust

adding borla exhaust. will i have any clearance problems? have the factory trailer hitch. is this exhaust a real "do-it-yourself-in-the driveway" system?
oh yeah, it's borla's single exhaust side exit set-up.

The hardest part is getting that big old factory one out. I put mine in a few hours. Managed to get the old one out in one piece. Not sure if you have remove the exhaust before but i found out the hard way on my 03 that ford notched the front so you have to turn it a little to get it to slid off. I also just removed all the hangers to get the factory off then reinstalled them before in stalling my borla. Hope this helps you a little. And good luck.

Yeah only problem is getting the oem exhaust off. Grease it up the hangers will make it easy. BTW, I love my Borla....I have the side out and dont have that nasty exhaust note until U floor the pedal otherwise it is very clam unit. Good luck with your install

i suggest unbolting all the hangers from the chassis it will make it a ton easier unstead of pulling the hanger out of the rubber thingy, and i hope it is better then the bassani i had for 2 days

Good advice. I unbolted all the hangers and it made it much easier lining everything up on the re-install.

I installed a Borla side exit in about 2 hours in my garage. You just need a good wrench set and some WD-40 to lube up the hangers. Getting the old one out was a pain in the butt. It was very heavy for one person to handle but in the end I got it out. You'll beable to do it yourself. Not a bad bolt-on.

I did not have any trouble getting my old stock exhaust off. I just sprayed all the hangers with wd-40 then slid under the truck on my back put my feet on the front of the stock muffler and push towards the rear and had it off in 5 minutes.
