If you plan on offroading your truck, yes.

Hey Allrsdup -

It's 7.5" from the bottom of the coil perch to the center of the lower mounting bolt.

And BTW - I have the CST 8" kit on the front of my 2006 SCrew... I didn't install the top strut extenders that came with my kit because they were... gaaaaaaayyy... it's true. I even dumped the rear blocks in favor of some Deavers. It shocks me how they can build such a great lift kit, then cut corners on the most important areas (like the actual suspension)...

Powercell, post some pics of your kit. Am very interested. And I'm still confused about what measurements you asked for allrsdup.

Yes, they're the DirtLogic's, but no I don't have them cranked at all. I was looking for a comfortable, progressive ride, so I topped the DL's with a billet 2-1/4 inch spacer I bought off a great shop on ebay. This was within 1/8 of the CST towers with the shock collar running 1/2 inch from the top (least pre-load).

Check out http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZncd2000 for the billet spacer...
