Bulletproof Suspension??

My buddy just got himself a 2000 F-150 and is looking at bulletproof suspension 12" kit for himself. He knew i was apart of the F150 forums and wanted me to ask yall if bulletproof is any good and trustworthy. as i know companies like whiplash tend to break or so i hear.

EDIT: sorry wrong forum section but if you can give me any help, id appreciate it.

There kit looks very homemade. Looks like a basic mold crossmember. I'm not going to slam them just yet, but there are many proven kits you'd be better off with, I'd rather be sitting on an FTS than a bulletproof but there is a guy on FTW running the bulletproof on his 04-06 F-150. A simple search and you'll find him.

my friend agrees with me on this that the FTS kits are FUGLY, the crossmember just looks horrible.

no, hes just cautious with his money. haha even though a 10-12" kit aint going to come cheap, he just dont wanna spend it on a crap kit.

My buddy put a 12" bullet proof on his 2002 Duramax and it is a total piece of S**t. He has had nothing but problems with it and is now in the process of soild axle swapping. Just my opinion but anything over 8" on IFS and your asking for problems...

they are all pretty dismal lifts. fullthrottle, whiplash, aim suspension, airbagit, and truckin are all affiliated with each other pretty closely; they all make the crappiest, underbuild, unsafe suspension products known to man

bulletproof isnt much better. my friend's had to take his supercrew back to their facility a bunch of times to get work done

save your money from the stupid disco lifts and just convert to a solid axle with coilovers . .
