How on earth did you remove the center section from the surround without snapping all the tabs? I have a nice New ( To me ) black billet grille and I dont want to destroy my surround.

Take your time.

Don't use a sledge hammer.

Several small screwdrivers work best.

If you break a few, don't worry, it will stay in there without a few of those tabs.

The good news is that you can snap a few and be ok.

The bad news is that you can't unload it on eBay as easily.

I bought my XLT grille on eBay, and the Joker failed to mention that he had snapped a few himself. It works fine though. No rattles and it's not loose. A good epoxy would fix it anyway if need be without showing.
