New 2006 XLT

Well maybe not "new". I have been browsing these forums for a couple months now. So much good information!! I bought my truck about 3 months ago and so far loving every min of it. Except the payments..... I was upside down on my mustang when I decided to lease this truck. Anyway let me know what you think..

It would appear that way since there is a coin holder there on the dash in the spot of the most common switch. ESOTF is an OPTION on the XLT trim level. I like the manual transfer cases.

Nice truck btw Matt...enjoy!

2003 GT 5spd I owed 18k. They gave me 17k. Got a bad interest rate on the lease though.

If I would have known this I would have got that also. The switch sucks.

My dads 97 F150 has the switch on the dash. The 4wd works until you really need it.I've had to pull him out twice when the 4wd decided not to engage. I will always buy trucks with the manual transfer case.

Thanks for all the replies. Ya I like the stick instead of the switch. Feels like your more in control.

I love my 05 STX w/ manual windows/locks and transfer case. I just wish I opted for auto mirrors. Auto car wash > my mirrors

Great looking truck, congrats. The XLT is my favorite trim level of 'em all. Has all the goodies and still looks like a "work truck". I, too, like my manual shift over the ****.

Why'd you lease, though?!?!

I leased to get out from under my mustang debt. Stang was giving me major issues and I wanted a pickup but at the time couldnt afford exactly what I wanted. So im leasing for 2 years and if I decide to keep it imma mod away or im going to look into getting something like a king ranch or lariat Screw.
