Some mod questions on an stx...

I had a fight with a stump in the local mud hole and will need a new bumper. My local body shop is going to do the 05 to 06 bumper swap and paint it.They are also getting the fog lights and mounting them but wont touch the wireing at all.
Im payin about $600 even for the whole deal installed so the price is pretty good and they do great paint work to boot.My issue is the wire side of the fogs.As far as I can tell the pigtail is not pre-installed on mine at the front end.So I am going to have to do 100% of the wire for them.Questions..Is there any way I can use a stock ford headlight switch with the fog option and swap mine out?
Would any one be able to help with what wire should go where?Any one done this,Its an 05 to 06 swap as well as add fogs.

The next item is power windows.I dont want to have the plug cover the hole in the door panel and it looks like $310 will buy me the stock panel with windows and locks. The regulate comes with a motor installed both front and rear.Would it be doable to use stock switches and stock power regulaters and add the wires?
Am I totaly nuts to want to try this?

The last thing is rear springs.I need a set of 2-3 inch lift leaf springs.Mine are shot and an add a leaf is not going to cut it at all.I found part numbers on skyjackers site for a 3" lift spring but they dont have any info as far as weight rateings for the springs.I do haul stuff in the bed and tow so I dont want to dump the cash into springs that are not ment to take any weight.
Any one have some ideas on where I could find a set of leaf springs?
Any one who did a lift of 3-4 inch get new springs in a kit that I may be able to get alone from a dealer of some sorts?

Many thanks to all....

I am offering this as an alternative to buying new door panels. These are aftermarket switches mounted over the crank holes. I used the factory window regulators and motors.

Hope this helps.

Where did you get those switch mounts?

Switches can be bought here. Actually, everything can be bought from a1electric.com.

The first installation of power windows I did, I used universal kits off eBay. My switches and pods came with the kits. These switches and pods are available separately though. Search the net for the different brands of universal window kits. Most will offer switch and wiring kits.

Where did you get power from for the power windows? i would think you have to get a 12 volt sorce and use a realy to make it only work with the ignition/accesories. Did you guys just get power at the key cylinder, pr somthing like the lighter. i wouldn't think you went all the way to the battery. i have not worked on my truck much yet, no time. But i use to install alarms and remote starters a few years back. Oh by the way i have a 06 stx supercab. Thanks for any information. oh and i like the switches over the manual hole too.

I tapped into a source which is only hot when the ignition is on. This source was located in the harness at the base of the column. Sorry I don't remember the color code of the wire. You should be able to do a search and find it on here.
