Shell for a lightning

Sorry to ask this cause I agree it will look like POS but I am going to have to use my L for some construction work for a while and I need a simple clean cab high camp type shell for my Lightning which as you know is a 6 1/2 ft flairside.

Every place I have asked and checked don't list one for my truck.

Can someone offer me a link or lead or have a pic.

It's ether have a secured place to keep my plumbing tools and carry some pipe or ditch it for a van.

I want to keep my L....
thanks folks
Greg

buy a small utility trailer and buy a truck box to keep your tools in and add a small pipe rack, it shouldnt cost much more then a shell.

I would post this in the Lightning section.

Of course, RP will move it shortly as well.

I don't know what part of Colorado you live in, but...

A.) If you decide to sell the L, PM me.

B.) Have you checked with the several topper shops on West Colfax in Denver? There is also one somewhere in the neighborhood of Federal and Hampton in South Denver that has loads of new and used toppers. I'm sure they could fix you up. Sorry, I don't know the name of the place.

Hope that's somewhat helpful.

From: Colorado,
Well, I put it here because I figure you folks would be more shell inclined than the lighting boys.

I don't like using trailers in traffic doing service and repair. There ok for new construction to drop on a job site but I've heard to many horror stories of guy getting the whole rig ripped off. Thanks for the comment though.

It's an 04 F150 why would it get moved. You guys got a moderator in a bad mood?

Try this link. Leer says that they have a model for 1997-2003 Flareside -- should fit your L. http://www.leer.com/fordmodel9.html#options
