Some measurments from 2wd owners please
I was wondering if some of the subercab 2wd owners could give me a couple measurments please. I would like to know how how your trucks sit stock front and rear from the ground to wheel well lip/moulding. I am curious what the height differance is between the 2wd and 4wd (mainly in the front). Thanks a bunch.

to get a measurement that is not effected by the tire size measure from the center of the wheel to the fender lip
center of wheel to fender
stock
front: 20.5 rear: 23.25
with 2.5/4 djm drop
front:18 rear: 19.25
center of wheel to fender
stock
front: 20.5 rear: 23.25
with 2.5/4 djm drop
front:18 rear: 19.25

With the 2" drop lower control arms in the front, the 5" drop in the rear with shackles, blocks removed, and springs dearched 1" , my 04 4x4 SCrew measures 33" from the ground to the bottom of the wheel wells with 285/70/17's on it...there is a pic somewhere in my gallery I will try to find and post later...
My neighbor just bought a 06 STX and I was thinking about hitting him up to see if he wanted to do a trade his front coils, springs, front and rear shocks for my springs,shocks,2" lift blocks. Get him some more height with his truck and mine down a little more. I figured it would lower my front another 1+" and with OEM parts until I get to my suspension phase. I already removed my rear blocks,u bolts and have shackles on and can drop it to the upper hole to get it down a bit more if I go lower in the front. Thats where there 2wd shocks would probably be better to use.
Would you think there would be any issues with the swap? Mainly the front, I think not and if so I/we would need to get the front realigned correct? I figure the only cost to us would be a little labor.
