larger tires and MPH

So when putting on lager tires, “33’s” how much does the mess-up your MPH? Is there a way to correct it? Just wondering, because I’ll be putting on my new tires today.

Thanks in advance,
DJ

Your speedo is probably off by about 3mph at 60 or atleast mine was. The way I corrected it was with my Edge Evo.

You'll be about 5 under actual speed according to my GPS going to 33's

it depends on your speed. as it is a % error and not a fix error.

SO that fast you go the farther off your speedo will be.

Exactly. In my Silverado with 275/55R20's I was off by 5mph at 75 and 7mph at 100. Took me a while to get used to seeing the actual speed being displayed when I put the stock wheels/tires back on in anticipation of selling it.
