4 inch lift; Rancho, RCD, who else?

Ok, I'm looking into getting about a 4" lift for my 2006 Screw FX4. I've decided to go with a 4" lift and 33-34" tires. After reading a lot of threads here, I really don't want to go with a spacer because of the ball joint issues.

So my question is other than Rancho and RCD who offers a 4" lift. And from what I've heard the Rancho kit is actually more like a 5-6" lift. Is this true.

Ok thanks for the help.

I believe the RCD lift for the new trucks is actually a 6 inch lift also. You are right about the Rancho. A lot of members have reported getting 5 or 5.5 inches of lift from it. I assume if you buy a lift that have replacement coilovers with adjustable preload, you will have a little adjustability in your ride height

Yeah I was thinking that too, but a lot of people on this site have said otherwise. If you are right, that is perfect. Exactly what I need and much cheaper than the RCD.

Sal had done the same to his truck as I with a Rancho, me a Fabtech. We're both running 37's. The rancho is a 6", I rub like hell with my Fabtech and haven't heard a peep from him.

I was one of the members 'claiming' 5-5 1/2" of lift with the Rancho. But if you guys can remember when I first got my Rancho kit, I only had my 33s on it.

Its okay, I was just trying to clear that up.

LONG story short, it was in the shop more than it was on the road. The mileage charges were going to be too bad to go the Lemon Law route so with a LOT of pressure on the dealer they got me into a brand new 2006 for no cost except I lost my lift, wheels, and tires which was a lot less than the mileage charges.
